So pleased to be re-able to play this game 18 years later, still as excellent as remembered, cant wait for The 7th Guest 3 to be published later on this year.

There is an error with Bishops puzzle. I cant make all movements.

I was really excited about this game coming to iPhone , but its far from a good experience to actually try to play it. Issues Ive run in to in the first 10 minutes: -Audio desync -Wrecked save game (in dining room puzzle, keeps kicking me back to load screen) -Menu colors inverting and distorting And the non error related issues that make it difficult to play: -the pixel-perfect mouse clicks required dont really work on iPhone ESPECIALLY in the load screen -the zoom in cursor seems to work only arbitrarily, and doesnt come up in menus where its really needed -no subtitles, necessary gameplay info only given in voiceovers. Overall a huge disappointment on what should have been a no-brainer. I cannot play this game in its current state. Please fix this game, Id really love to play it again

Just as I remember it. Great Job guys. The puzzles are still challenging after all these years.

The speed issue has been mostly dealt with! This is a fairly faithful port. Ive been waiting for this game to be released for months. It was well worth it. If you like puzzles, this game is for you!

Unfortunately, this game needs some serious patching. The speed issue takes away from the game (youre now running through the house instead of walking), the game frequently locks up, and the audio goes out of sync with the actors dialogue. PLEASE FIX.

This is a great port of the original; Ive been waiting for it for months. A few puzzles omitted from the original werent missed as I explored the mansion which consumed my youth. The atmosphere and great music translate awesomely to the iPhone. A must for any puzzle fan!

Im enjoying the game but pleeeeeease fix the inability to load autosaved games. I have had to restart twice because it doesnt load my game. I refuse to start over a third time...please fix!!!!!!

Very good port to iPhone and bug free. Graphics are nice, game is very smooth and sound/music is great. I was very happy to defeat Stauf on his own ground again and good news is, I solved the puzzles much faster than back in those days! Would have liked to see all the puzzles though, like the microscope puzzle (blobs), but I can understand thats porting an AI to an iPhone device might be challenging. Looking forward to see 11th hour!

Awesome game but the animation between scenes goes too fast. Still worth getting just for the memories, got the sound track on iTunes as well.

Ive hunted high and low to find a copy of this game. I bought it when it first came out years ago, beat it and then sold it. Ive regretted that decision ever since. $3 is a small price to buy such an awesome game that was considered the cutting edge of technology at the time. Thanks so much for porting this game to the iPhone - it is a faithful reproduction that plays exactly as I remembered. Absolutely thrilled to own and play this game again. :)

Well worth the price. Good, tough puzzles.. Fantastic music. A history lesson in oldschool pc gaming for the uninitiated, I would recommend this to anyone

Lousy navigation in this game wasteof money have to click too many times for anything to work

iPhone 4s w/ iOS 5.0.1 - Pros: The game is fun and the puzzles are good. Cons: the game froze when someone called during a cutscene. When I returned to the game, the cutscene was frozen and did not resume. Also, while in the dungeon maze, I got another call and when I returned to the game, it would not resume. I think Stauf was speaking when the call came through. If you want to play this version 7.2 of this game, you will need to put your phone into airplane mode so you dont receive any calls. Also, dont quit the game during a cut scene or when a voice in the game is talking. If they resolve this issue, I would rate the game 5 stars.

I remember sitting in front of the computer for hours playing this game. It was one of the best and original puzzle game at the time. Thanks for bringing it to the iPad!

Ive alway loved this game from playing years ago as a young teen to now as an adult! Really glad to have it on the iPhone.

I remember playing this game as a kid, and loved it then and love it now. Although the graphics and visual effects may be a little outdated, however the puzzles are still challenging and enjoyable. Too bad, iTunes does not have the follow up to 7th guest, the 11th hour.

The game is just as I remember it as a child! However I have been having some problems. When I try to load the auto saved game it either crashes the app entirely or it goes back to the loading screen. Ive had to restart the game twice now from scratch because of the inability to load a past game. I would be more upset, but I snagged it when it was free for a day. Even so it makes me so frustrated that I wont be playing it again for a long while.

Its hard to believe that the iPhone has no trouble running this game when my old PC could barely put out 15fps. The added double-tap zoom-in feature helps a lot with smaller details on the iPhone, and the game looks the same way it did back when it came on CD-ROMs. Theres an audio glitch where sequential dialogue cuts off prematurely, which is a HUGE pain when the narrators puzzle hints are cut short. Other than that, great port!
